Keeping Yourself Safe in the Time of COVID-19

Several communities have begun to reopen amid the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but this does not mean that we are fully safe from the virus.

As a provider of home care services in California, we make sure that our staff protects themselves and their patients through various safety measures. Here are some tips from redcross.org:

  • Wash your hands often
Washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is recommended, but if not available you may use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact
Stay at home as much as possible and practice at least 6 feet of distance when in public.
  • Cover your mouth and nose
Use a face cover when you are going out in public.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
Use a tissue to cover your mouth and nose and throw the used tissues in a lined trash can.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, and others.

We at Boundless Care, Inc. provide non-medical home care in San Jose, California. Whether you need assistance with daily living activities, companionship services, or help with staffing solutions, we can be of service.
